Tomatoes in April

Heirloom tomatoes are one of my new favorite things. The ones I've had lately are bursting with flavor, and I can get them from my local grocery store. Usually I have to wait for the summer farmer's markets or a friend's garden to get great tomatoes, but these have been fabulous. Will be enjoying this one with dinner tonight. Too bad my husband doesn't like them... more for me!

Have nearly finished the back of the project I'm working on, which is the same from the photos yesterday. It is a warm-weather shell with cap sleeves. Currently trying to figure out how I want to work in the lace section to the solid stockinette stitch. Another thing about this yarn is my stitches are more uneven than normal, I think because of the cotton fiber. Hopefully it will even out in the blocking. I need to get in the habit of having more than one project going at once. I have one that I put all of my energy into until it's finished, then I start another. But I think it would be good to have several projects in the 'works' so that I can switch to something else if I get stuck. Also, I think it would help keep my creativity up to continuously be working on different things.

My blog isn't feeding to Ravelry yet, for some unknown reason. Probably I didn't link it up the right way, but I can't figure it out. Apparently several people have had this problem, but no one seems to know exactly what's wrong. It seems that most people just disconnected their site, then reconnected it, and eventually it shows up. At least it gives the name of my site so people can find their way here.

1. Yum, what time is dinner?
2. Your backyard is amazingly green!
3. You really shouldn't be standing out on that deck - I don't think it is safe.
4. Where was that heirloom tomato grown, and, what time did you say dinner was?
Love you!

Hello Ashley! So happy to find your new home on the net. Let me tell you, your husband doesn't know what he's missing with that tomato. It looks(ed) divine.
I cannot wait to see your new finished knit from your earlier post - the pattern looks beautiful. I do not know if you've heard, but magknits is no more...is there a way to transfer your patterns that appeared there to this new site?
I will check this site regularly and cannot wait for your new patterns. :)
